Maria Brockmann is a very talented artist who enjoys painting with watercolor and acrylic and is exploring acting and writing. She enjoys reading, gardening and working with children at the Springbrook day care center. Maria's winter landscape was chosen as the cover art for The Arc Otsego's holiday card in 2010. She also won 5th prize at the NYSACRA Annual Conference 2011 Art Show.

Vincent Devine has the soul of a sculptor-no matter what media he works in. Whether he is drawing or wood burning, his sense of space emerges-as if it were a sketch for a sculpture. He enjoys working with clay and carving plaster and feels most proud when he can stand back and admire the finished product. A detail from Vincent's self-portrait is used as the logo for the gallery and in March 2009, his oil painting Jester, was chosen as the cover art for the Main View Gallery & Studio exhibit Imagine. Most recently, Vincent received a Special Opportunities Stipend, a New York Fine Arts grant, to study sculpture with Elizabeth Nields. The grant is administered by The Upper Catskill Community Council of the Arts (UCCCA). Vincent held a solo exhibit at UCCCA in January 2010 and exhibited work at Voice! 6 2010. He is the featured artist for MVG's fall exhibit, Natural Resources. |

Jon Hartman enjoys creating in a variety of visual media. He works slowly and carefully taking great pains to create the perfect picture by using color and composition in unique and creative ways. Jon also enjoys making intricate hand-sewn humbugs and plays drums in MVG's musical group The Zebras. Jon had a solo exhibit at The Upper Catskill Community Council of the Arts in October 2008 and exhibited work at Voice! 6 2010.

Anne Holahan enjoys word searches, sewing, drawing, painting and performing. She finds the creative process to be relaxing and satisfying. Anne also enjoys making humbugs and playing in MVG's musical group The Zebras. She exhibited work at the Franklin Stage Company in Franklin, NY and at Voice! 5 2009. Anne's plywood self-portrait sculpture won Third Prize at Voice! 6 2010.

Marni Jamieson enjoys the art of creating. It brings her great joy to make a piece of work that can be admired and enjoyed by others. She has created a wonderful series of humbugs called Mopey, and has exhibited her work at Voice! 2007, 2008 and 2009, and The Franklin Stage Company in Franklin, NY. Marni's series, The Other Side of God, was featured in the winter 2009 exhibit, Small Wonders. Marni enjoys laughing and telling jokes and she serves as a trainer for The Arc Otsego's new employee orientation.

Andrew Kennedy, the featured artists for the Spring 2010 exhibit Main Characters, enjoys participating in acting workshops, dancing and movement classes, yoga, and any opportunity to showcase his acting talents. Andy's pen and ink line drawing, Andy Man, adorns one of MVG's popular t-shirts. He is a member of the musical group The Zebras.

Monica Maraglio's visual arts interest revolves around her drawings that reflect her love of animals. She exhibited work at the Franklin Stage Company in the summer of 2008 and exhibited and sold work at the NYSACRA Annual Convention art show in 2010. Her high energy and outgoing personality are well suited to the stage. In August 2008, Monica performed in the Foothills Performing Arts Center production of Circus in the Wind. She has appeared in MVG's workshop production of The Musicians of Bremen, and at the Bugbee Children's Center and the Hartwick Community Center as part of the musical group The Zebras. Monica also enjoys writing and has participated in the first creative writing workshop at MVG with Bertha Rogers of Bright Hill Press. |

Linda McCord enjoys all of the performing arts immensely, however she also expresses herself through a variety of visual media. She has performed in the Foothills Performing Arts Center production of Circus in the Wind and in various talent shows. Her untitled lino-block was selected as the cover art for The Main View Gallery and Studio's Spaces 2009 exhibit and her work also appeared on the cover of the 2008 exhibit On the Light Side poster. She has exhibited at the Franklin Stage Company in Franklin, NY and at Voice! 6 2010. Linda is an accomplished musician who loves the theater, baseball and football. In her spare time, she volunteers at The National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. |

Jennifer Melchionne creates wonderfully captivating works of art that capture the attention and hearts of patrons. She has created several wedding-themed paintings for the Small Wonders exhibit as a result of the popularity of her Yellow painting from self stories. She was the recipient of the Curators' Award at Voice! 2008 and one of her images adorns a popular MVG t-shirt. She loves singing and dancing in t MVG's musical group The Zebras. Jennifer exhibited work at the Franklin Stage Company during the summer of 2009.

Jeffrey Peterson is a very creative individual who enjoys experimenting with new media and working with the various visiting artists. His artistic talent shines through in Doug Jamieson's advanced oil painting class. Jeffrey's art has been displayed in both Otsego and Chenango counties and he has exhibited at Voice! 2007 and the Foothills Performing Arts Center Circus in the Wind. His self-portrait was chosen as the cover art for the fall exhibit, self stories. Jeffrey exhibited at the Franklin Stage Company in the summer of 2009.

Yvonne Schreiber enjoys drawing or painting using colored markers to watercolor. She is inspired by images of houses and buildings and her winter image of a house decorated for the holidays was chosen as the cover piece for The Arc Otsego's 2008 holiday card. The theme of houses and buildings is also reflected in the humbugs she has designed and sewn. Yvonne loves the theater and has participated in both acting classes and in MVG's workshop production of The Musicians of Bremen. Most recently, Yvonne exhibited work at the Franklin Stage Company and was the featured artist for the fall exhibit self stories. |

Mark Stafford's methodical approach to the creative process results in many wonderful pieces. He was the recipient of The Jurors' Award at Voice! 2008. He has exhibited work at the Franklin Stage Company and his work was also chosen as the cover art for Main View Gallery & Studio's 2010 calendar. Currently, Mark's found object work, The Phone is featured on the poster for the Natural Resources exhibit. He also enjoys acting workshops and playing the drums in MVG's musical group The Zebras.

Wendy Stanton's drawings, paintings and sculptures feature nature, forests and water landscapes which incorporate fairies, angels and mermaids. She is a prolific artist and has enjoyed success marketing her work at the Main View Gallery. Her work has been featured on The Arc Otsego's 2006 holiday card and as the cover art for the Main View Gallery's June 2008 exhibit, Summer Magic. In addition, her painting, Circus Elephant, was chosen as the poster cover art for The Foothills Performing Arts Center's production of Circus in the Wind and 2009 calendar. Wendy's pieces were incorporated into the set of Franklin Stage Company's An American Fairy Tale. She also won both third place and the People's Choice Award at Voice! 2009 for her richly wood-burned and decorated dollhouse. Most recently, Wendy exhibited at Voice! 6 2010 and City of the Hills Arts Festival. |

Michele Stedman is a very ambitious artist. She keeps our jewelry case fully supplied with beautifully strung necklaces, earrings and ankle bracelets. She also likes sewing humbugs and sachets and enjoys playing drums in MVG's musical group The Zebras. Michele brought kindness and abundant patience to her role as a teacher's assistance at MVG's Art of Play children's classes. Most recently, her found object piece, Sea Creatures was featured on the poster for the exhibit Natural Resources. |

Timothy Sullivan thrives in the spotlight. He enjoys performing and creating art. In August 2008, he appeared in the production Circus in the Wind at the Foothills Performing Arts Center and during the past year, Tim appeared in Tri-Town Theater productions of Scrooge and Willy Wonka and in MVG's original adaptation of The Tempest. As an artist, Tim has exhibited work at the Franklin Stage Company in Franklin, NY at at Voice! 6 2010 and Tim's painting of a ballerina was chosen as the cover art for The Arc Otsego's Celebrating Ability poster in 2010. Tim is the featured artist for MVG's winter exhibit Heart & Home. |

April Todd is a very productive artist and enjoys painting and working with clay. Her bright personality is reflected in the bright colors with which she works. She has taken several wonderful photographs and one was included in an exhibit at The Roxbury arts Group. Last summer she helped construct an ongoing outdoor sculpture where her hard work and skills helped us to tame nature and create a peaceful and dynamic environment. |

David Zimmerman enjoys sewing, collage and painting with watercolors and is pleased with himself when he expresses himself creatively. David is a talented songwriter and participates in MVG's musical group The Zebras. He also exhibited work at the Franklin Stage Company during the summer of 2009 and at Voice! 6 2010. David was the featured artist for MVG's summer exhibit, Family.
